Today is Thursday May 30, 2019. Jim and I, along with my sister, Barbara Isborn, and her husband, Dwight, are just leaving the Shenandoah National Park in the beautiful state of Virginia where we spent the night last night. It’s also a very special time for us, because we are celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary today.
We’ve been on an American history tour for the past 8 days and we are having a wonderful time. I hope to tell you a little more about it in my column next week after we return home, but there is so much that we have seen and experienced, that I can only touch the surface of it. Until then I will sign off, so we can experience this beautiful scenery that we are passing through.
Next stop today, Harpers Ferry and Gettysburg.
